Roger and Nancy Dosman operate Alderlea Vineyards near Duncan on the slopes above Quamichan Lake in the Cowichan Valley (Prior to 1911, the town of Duncan was known as Alderlea). Established in 1992, winemaker Roger is dedicated to growing high quality grapes and producing 100% estate grown wines. All products are made from the vineyard's grapes, including superb white wines, red wines and ports.
Our white wines are fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, while our red wines are aged in American and French oak barrels. Our careful vineyard management and dedication to wine making, produces quality Cowichan Valley wines, full in varietal character and easily enjoyed with a variety of cuisine.
